Description
The Freedom Yurt-Cabin is the only luxury yurt system of its kind — combining the warmth of solid wood walls with the ease of an integrated platform. Designed to go from kit to cabin in as little as three days, it offers a DIY-friendly path to creating a distinctive retreat that feels as timeless as a log cabin, yet as inspiring as a traditional yurt.
Each Yurt-Cabin is crafted with solid wood walls, real insulation, house-grade windows, a round wood frame and rafters, and a tongue-and-groove wood ceiling, blending rustic beauty with modern strength. With its bolt-together design and built-in floor system, assembly is straightforward, while the structure itself is engineered for long-term stability and performance.
Unlike conventional yurts that require cement foundations, the Yurt-Cabin leaves a light environmental footprint. It rests on simple stepping stones and secures into the ground with innovative Duckbill earth anchors, making it easy to relocate without leaving a permanent mark.
The 16-wall model provides 387 square feet of space — easily accommodating a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and living area. For full-time living or extra comfort, the 18-wall model offers even more room to expand.
